UK Car Park Management Ltd

Owned and run by James Randalll and Lukhbir (Lucky) Gohler. Gohler was involved with two other companies, Parking Control Management (Sussex) and Parking Control Management (Sussex) but these have folded. He does have links to Perfect Removals Ltd so UKCPM appears to be no more than a side show.

More on this company on the main BMPA website.

Stage 1 - Notice to Driver

The company offers ticketing "packages" so that anyone wanting to earn some commission [think they] can ticket anyone anywhere. Check with the location that UKCPM were actually hired to work there. If not report to police.

Stage 2 - Notice to Keeper

There are 2 types. A "Formal Demand"is where the driver did not appeal a ticket on the car and they are contacting the Keeper. The second one is where they use ANPR cameras and the Parking charge goes straight to the Keeper whose details are supplied by the DVLA.

Stage 2a - Reminder to Keeper

Some companies send out a reminder 7 days after the Notice to Keeper letter. This confuses people as they think they have lost the chance to appeal. You haven't. You can still appeal within the 21 days though there is no legal reason why you cannot appeal at any time to "mitigate" loss.

Stage 3 - Appeal Rejection

Everyone gets one of these but this is your chance to appeal to the Ombudsman to get it cancelled.
